Description:
Lightweight bodyfiller is a thixotropic two-pack polyester putty formulated for filling dents and surface flaws of car bodies.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Metal surfaces
-Degrease and dry sand with P80 grit,
Existing surfaces
-Strip to bare metal by dry sand with P80 grit then dry feather edge with P180 grit.
Finally wipe with Prekleen or lacquer thinners before applying bodyfiller.

MIXING RATION
2.5% hardener by weight
3 - 4cm paste hardener to 30g filler
Note: dispensers are available for 5Kg packs.

APPLICATION
Mix well until a uniform green colour is achieved. Press firmly when applying with applicator at 60? angle, stroking on layers in one direction only. This will eliminate air bubbles and ensure a substantial bond. Apply in thin layers.

POT LIFE/GEL TIME
When mixed 4 to 6 minutes at 25?C

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT
Use lacquer thinners

DRYING TIME
Ready to flat 1 hours at 25?C
45 minutes at 40?C

RECOMENDED SANDING
Once cured flat with P80 manual or P180 grit mechanical
